When Compassion Finds a Way At Jeevdaya Foundation, our mission has always been simple — to save lives, no matter the circumstance. Every day, we receive distress calls about injured, abandoned, or suffering animals. But unlike big organizations, we don’t yet have an ambulance or modern rescue vehicle. Still, when a life is in danger, we can’t wait for perfect conditions — we act. The Tractor That Became a Lifeline In the picture above, our team can be seen rescuing a severely injured cow. With no ambulance available, we used a tractor trolley — the only vehicle we had at that moment. The cow had collapsed and was unable to stand on her own. Our volunteers gently lifted her with ropes and blankets, ensuring she wasn’t hurt further. Even though the tractor wasn’t built for rescue work, it became a symbol of determination and compassion. On dusty roads, under the hot sun, our team traveled several kilometers to bring her to our shelter safely. Humanity Over Resources This rescue isn’t about what we didn’t have — it’s about what we refused to give up on. Our volunteers, young and dedicated, stayed with the cow throughout the journey, comforting her and keeping her calm. Every jolt of the tractor reminded us how badly we need an ambulance, but also how powerful human kindness can be. Our Ongoing Mission Jeevdaya Foundation continues to rescue animals in need — with or without modern equipment. But the truth is, having a proper animal ambulance would make a world of difference.
